In this last installment of my “socially distanced” series, I share an interview with Amy Hall, my guest from episode 14, that I recorded back in April.
In the interim since our conversation, things have not exactly gotten less stressful. I found myself recording and rerecording the introduction to this episode with each new wave of bad news.
These last couple of weeks, needless to say, have been especially brutal and especially for African Americans, who have had yet another reminder of the violence that has so frequently been visited upon their community in our nation’s history. It’s hard sometimes to know where to begin. (For the intro, I settled on something simple: a walk in the woods. I hope a little dose of the language of the natural world can do us all a bit of good.)
