Fashion Mash-Up (mini’sode)

The holidays brought us a lovely addition to our family this year – a little rescue puppy we’ve named Coco.

Living with a canid – after ruminating about canids for weeks during our episodes on wolves and coyotes – it’s eye-opening (getting in touch with the natural world at 3:45 a.m.) and, well, she’s a puppy, so… a lot of work. I also have my two other puppies and their puppy friends home from school for the holidays, so it’s been impossible to produce a full episode this week.

Thus, as appetizer-episode for the upcoming interview with Amy Hall, VP of Social Consciousness for Eileen Fisher, I offer you a hilarious little interview of my daughter and two of her friends about the one-week camp they took last summer in which they fashioned new clothes out of old. It’s very much in the spirit of what I discuss with Amy Hall, with an extra dash of sparkles and silliness. (My daughter, I confess, is the one who is extra eager to get to the microphone.)
